Photographer's Note
Imagem feita durante o retorno dos pescadores. Atualmente, no litoral nordestino, em virtude das atividades predatórias do contrabando de corais, retirados dos arrecifes por barcos piratas, e, consequentemete, os peixes estão escassos e mais distantes da costa, e isto faz com que os pescadores tenham que se deslocarem a uma distância de 20Km da costa em busca de peixes. Esta é a distância em que se encontram os grandes navios, e têm ocorrido acidentes nesta faixa, ou seja, navio afundando barco de pescador. Estes fatos foram objeto de uma série de reportagens, no jornal local, CB.

Hi Consuelo,
Neat shot. He looks very tired, but also very happy. Boats in the background set the scene. I might have tried to crop out the boat/equipment in the foreground or capture more of it. Slightly distractive. Still a nice picture. Thanks.

É uma bonita foto do pescador cançado a regressar da árdua faina no mar. As cores estão óptimas, especialmente as da camisa do homem. O que está em baixo do lado esquerdo parece a mais mas são coisas que a gente não repara no momento do disparo.

Hello Consuelo,
What a compelling shot of the 'Old Fisherman and the Sea,' and presenting it in a vertical format is master stroke. The composition, colors and resolution are all excellent. The man's gaze on the ground, rather than at the photographer, is critical. After all, the photographer should not become part of the image portrayed.

Oi Celma,
Bela foto deste pescador voltando com o pescado tirada no momento certo. As cores vivas da camiseta do pescadorajudam a focar os olhos no sujeito principal e oferecem um otimo contraste de cores com o fundo e as aguas do mar. E um pouco pena que ele esteja ficado tao proximo do centro. Uma pequena clonagem na parte inferior tb ajudaria a limpar a composicao.

Bonjour Consuelo.
Nos pays viennent de connaître un terrible accident d'avion et on ne peut que dire notre peine.
Cette photo est très belle avec ce pêcheur qui fait un travail de plus en plus difficile et risqué. Il revient et les prises ne sont pas aussi importantes qu'il l'aurait souhaité.
