CACHOEIRAS NO VALE DO PATI
WATERFALLS IN THE PATI VALLEY

It was my fifth day in the CHAPADA DIMANTINA, in the PATI VALLEY. It was a pretty light day, walking along the creeks and finding waterfalls such as this one, where I'd have my lunch, bathe in the cold waters and sunbathe in the warm sun on the rocks that were all over the place!

1/5 sec. permitted you to obtain a splectacular effect of the water.
The view of this cascades is really splendid and the vertical composition is the best choice in this case.

This one is exellent. Great work, under what must have been difficult conditions. Good idea to include the more distant mountains, wich brings more depth into the picture.

J'aime beaucoup la faηon dont tu as captι l'ιcume de l'eau Ce balnc est trθs beau, impressionnant et bien exposι. Belle utilisation ιgalement du format vertical avec une belle perspective vers les montagnes dans le fond de l'iamge.

You have probably figured out by now that I love waterfalls, and also like them taken with a slow shutter for the silky appearance. Even though they are in sunlight, any patches of over-exposure have been kept to a minimum - not easy! The wide view which includes the mountains is great both for depth and for context.
