Photographer's Note
As I told you before, Goiαs city had a fast economic decay when the gold found in the region was gone and many of its public buildings had a shortage of means while being built.
Here we can see the faηade of the Cathedral of Saint Ann, its works begun in 1743, but the precarious works were so bad that in 1759 the roof fell down, beginning a series of reforms that had an end only in 1998.
As you can see during the final restoration a part of the building was left as it was during centuries. I presume the metal fountain is from the end of 19th century.

Vemos aqui a fachada da Catedral de Santa Ana, cujos trabalhos comeηaram em 1743, porιm, fizeram obras tγo precαrias que o telhado desabou em 1759 e depois disso se iniciou uma sιrie de reformas que sσ teve um fim em 1998.
Reparem que durante a restauraηγo final uma parte do prιdio foi deixada como sempre esteve, inacabada.
A fonte com a moηa ι feita em metal, presumo que seja uma obra do final do sιculo 19.

The unusual fountain is well placed in the foreground and is the main reason why this is an interesting photo. The lady's skirt matches the upper walls of the church quite well.

Well done, you have composed this photograph extremely well, the fountain and lady, very strongly placed for f/g attention and to create a fine sense of depth. I like how her skirt makes a natural colour link with the red brick, upper storey of the building.

Hello Jorge,
The upper part of the fountain with the young woman makes an unusual foreground for the view of the church facade.
Hopefully there were no casualties when the roof of the church collapsed.
