Photographer's Note
The Chapel Ours Lady of Alvorada, inaugurated in 1961, makes of the joint architectural of the Alvorada’s Palace, official residence of the Republic’s President, whose project is of authorship of Niemeyer Oscar. This chapel is small, and a maximum capacity for one 10 people. It has the spiral form , as it was a great sheet of paper if opening. Athos Bulcão, brazilian artist, with its bold and abstract traces, made the paintings of the ceiling of this chapel, that represent the main symbols of the primitive Christianity - the moon, the sun, the fish and the cross that mean the love, the donation and the resurrection. But, in general, the works of art aren’t understanding by the majority, and the existence of these paintings was discovered recently, when of the building’s reform of the chapel. The paintings had been covered for a coarse layer of ink. Who is not known was the author of such vandalism, but everybody is certain that such act was practised by some ex-Presidente who didn’t like or he didn’t understand the work of art, and he decided the question with a bucket of ink on it. Hola Consuelo,
Another nice photo of architecture with this beautiful vegetation all around. You show well the shape in snail shell of the chapel. Your note is at the same moment terrifying and interesting.

bom registro da capela. As pessoas caminhando e até a fotógrafa em frente a capela ficou bom.

Muito bonita essa Capela, ainda não conhecia ela, nemd e foto... Essa história da tinta é impressionante também, com certeza foi coisa de nossos políticos mesmo... Se investigam até acidente de avião, da pra imginar também o entendimento deles em obras de arte, com excessão do valor das que enfeitam seus gabinetes...

Legal essas fotos de obras do Niemeyer Consuelo. Essa também tem um estilo caracteristico do arquiteto. Não conhecia esse tema, vou adicionar umas fotos minhas lá.
Gosto do enquadramento, porém acho que uma foto mais aberta deixaria ela com maior leveza.Boas cores.

Interessante essa arquitetura do Niemeyer, parece a concha de um caramujo! Essa eu não lembro de ter visto em nenhuma vez que fui a Brasília! Boa foto!

Beautiful capture of this unique little chapel that contrast nicely with the pale blue sky. We will only have room for three more communicants if the lady with the camera decides to join the folks heading inside.

What a pretty shot! The building seems to be made of mother of pearl and has a soft, lovely glow to it. It contrasts beautifully with the greens surrounding it and that soft blue sky. I love the lines and shape of the chapel and the composition is great to show it off. REALLY nice shot! Kind regards,

vejo que perdi algumas fotos suas nesse meio tempo em que estive off. Aos poucos as coisas vão voltando ao normal.
Que belo registro dessa arquitetura que não precisa nem ler para saber de quem é a autoria :)
Gosto das cores naturais e do ponto de vista, com o elemento humano dando referência ao tema. Bela foto!

Aqueles pinheiros estão parecendo com os daqui do Canadá e tem até cores outonais ali à direita!
Muito interessante as "pontas" dos pinheiros combinando com a ponta da capela.
