Photographer's Note
In the middle of the salt desert of Uyuni, there's a island called Isla del Pescador. It is full of giant cactus. How tall are they? Try first to find the person in the picture to have a idea. Try hard! If you don't find, take a look at the workshop, it gives the answer.
Astonishing place I tell you.
PS: contrast on the island and accentuation of blue in the sky (was washed out)

Au milieu du dιsert de sel d'Uyuni, il y a une ξle appellιe Isla del Pescador (Ξle du Pκcheur). Elle est remplie de cactus gιant. De quel grandeur sont-ils? Essayez de trouver la personne dans la photo pour en avoir un aperηu. Essayez vraiment! Si vous donner votre langue au lama, regardez le 'workshop'.
Cet endroit est fantastique.
PS : contraste sur l'ξle et accentuation du bleu pour le ciel

WOW it seems incredible that they are so large. Including the very well camouflaged human is important. Some of the cactus don't appear very sharp and that rock on the bottom left is a bit too disturbing, however the photo is magnificent for it involves a great subject and a true teaching moment.

La photo est surexposιe. J'ai bien conscience que ce ne doit pas κtre facile d'ιviter cette surexposition. Il aurait fallu faire une mesure de la lumiθre sur le dιser de sel ou utiliser un filtre pour assombrir. Toutefois, c'est une belle photo sur un lieu interessant.

Those are pretty large cacti. Makes my 2 cacti seem like weeds. This scene makes me think of the Ents in Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. But instead of trees here we have cacti Ents marching down the mountains. They each seem to have their own posture and some even look like they have arms held up. It really gives life to these plants. And the salt plain below is amazing, still. It really adds a touch of fantasy to this place. Amazing. There seems to be a focus issue, however. I think it could be much better if the cacti had been focused better. Still, it really converys this amazing place nicely.

I opened the web site and this picture is right there, what an increbible place. I guess just walk straight and do not fall on one of them.
