Interesante, bella y simétrica composición de esta planta. Tiene unos colores preciosos, un encuadre en macro excelente, y gran definición (se ve perfectamente la textura de la hoja).

It's a LONG time since I saw your album but it's such a pleasure to see some of the wonderful pics you've been posting!
Your comments about winter are nice and make me wish I was living in the tropics as well! In the temperate zones of the world, winter can get cold enough to be uncomfortable but I'm glad I don't live anywhere that's even colder. We don't have snow where I live but it's common further south in NZ: Queenstown, in the South Island, is a 'winter playground'.
Your idea of using the plants to illustrate the change of season is a good one. It was the colour and the symmetry of this leaf that caught my eye and, on looking closer, I see just how sharp and well defined the centre of this macro shot really is. It's a really good pic.

Well, if your winter is defined by this kind of image, then O.K., it's "Hello winter!!!!!!"
Did you ever see our kind of winter? :)))))
And I like this symmetrical composition. It reminds me of a ROmanian painter that had almost-abstract works inspired by gardens.
