Photographer's Note
The Moon Gate is one of the major archeological artifacts located at the Tiwanaku excavation site, 70 km west of the Bolivian city of La Paz. It is still unclear what was the purpose of this gate which is part of the Kalasasaya Temple.
The Tiwanaku culture is dated back to 1500 BC which lasted till 1200 AD, and the legendary city was embraced by the Inca as their own origin place, and for a reason. The Tiwanaku culture utilized advanced Agricultural technology in order to feed themselves in the barren and cold high plain of the Andes and manage to prosper until their mysterious disappearance into the abyss of time. Even today the festival of the sun is held by locals at the Tiwanaku site every freezing night between the 20th to the 21st of June.

So far, I captured the same photo, but in the dark of the sunset. It seems unbelieveble....!
I like your shot too, in the daylight.
