Photographer's Note
This picture was taken near one of the little scarce settlements that dot the Salar De Uyuni. While the daily sun shines strong at this 4000 meter high Salt flat, when it finally sink the temperature drops well below freezing point with gusts of winds making it even more intolerable to sit outside for a couple of minutes. Daily life is hard in this harsh place, and it is evident from the faces of the locals. Hopefully, I will manage to pass this feeling in the next photo upload.

Salar is often presented with a white colour and with a large place for the salt ground ... and your shot with this very nice warm colour and a great sky is very original and impressive. Congratulations.

I really like how the grains gives this photo a painting like quality.

You've made a very bleak place look rather warm and inviting in this shot. Great use of lines to draw attention to the isolation of the hut and thanks for the interesting note about the area.

I love the colors of this, you have managed to capture quite an impressive, soft, and magestical scene which is so different from the usual stark contrast between the white salt and the intense blue sky! I'm also impressed with the texture of the sky as well. It brings back so many pictures from my trip there. Great job!

Hi Chen,
Others said it before, and I will say it again: this looks like a painting! It truly looks like a very barren place and I quite understand that the life there is surely hard. But I guess even "harsh place" can produce beautiful picture like this one. Thank you for sharing!
