Photographer's Note
Not exactly the original trio, but nonetheless three subjects: Lagoon de Los Tres, Mt. Fitzroy and Aguja Poincenot peak.
In fact, Lagos de los Tres was name this way in honour of the three alpinist from the french expedition that was the first to reach the Fitz Roy (or Chalten) peak summit; Lionel Terray, Guido Magnone and Jacques Poincenot. But Poincenot never made to this lake, he actually died weeks before the climbing. He drown while trying to cross the Fitz Roy river close to the actual concrete bridge that bring the road to El Chalten village today. They also called the peak on the left after Jacques Poincenot Adapted from Romain's (green) critique which corrected me and I felt this critique deserves it's rightfull place.
Talking of which, Mt. Fitzroy, as well as the other peaks, are named after explorers that climbed and or explored this amazing natural reserve.
Robert Fitzroy was actually a Flag Lieutenant which was promoted to captain of the HMS Beagle after it's original captain, Pringle Stokes, fell into deep depression and eventually committed suicide. That incident happened on the Beagle's first voyage: doing a survey of the Magellan and Tierra del Fuego area (early years of the 19th century). This voyage ended by the return of the ship to Plymouth with Fuegians natives (Indigenous) and later on Fitzroy returned again to the South American continent, this time with a gentleman named Charles Darwin, which was a young and passionate naturalist. his work would eventually make the Beagle one of the most famous ships in history (Adapted from wikipedia).

A fine landscape photo, Chen - beautiful light, crisp detail and a very authentic tonality in this scenic view. The vertical format was a pretty logical choice to fit these different layers and textures of nature into the photo. Well done, interesting notes as well.

Hi Chen
Excellent composition and exposure. I like the framing here as it delivers depth and impact to the shot. Good blue sky to add extra impact and nice detail. Well done.

Hi Chen
Great mountain scenery. The details are excellent. I especially like the broken ice in the turquoise lake and the peaks of the mountain. Even though the snow on the right is a bit blinding, the contrasts work well.

The colours are superb, really well saturated without being overdone and the image is pin sharp throughout.
I'm not altogether comfortable with the composition. I keep wondering what is off to the right for some reason. Maybe if the left edge of the lake wasn't visible it would be better balanced for me.
Despite the reservations it's a very good shot with great notes to accompany it.

Hi Chen
Wow! The vertical format suits perfectly & the tiny people in the fg give a good idea of the enormous scale of the glacier & mts. Good work!

A great landscape Chen and captured well in this photo. Still most impressing is the inclusion of the persons down by the lake. Really displaying some scaling of the place. Good work - must have been a great hike
