Photographer's Note

Women's Bridge is a swing bridge designed by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava in the City of Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is the only one of his works in Latin America and is located on Dock 3 of Puerto Madero, and Manuela Gorriti Dealessi Pierina.
This is a work conceived by businessman Alberto Gonzalez, who was member of the Madero and donated the money for its construction. Gonzalez was commissioned Spanish architect and engineer Santiago Calatrava Valls. It was manufactured by Urssa in the city of Vitoria in the Basque Country, because the steel was built which is not manufactured in Argentina.
The design is a synthesis of the image of a couple dancing tango.
The cost of the work was about six million dollars that were donated by Alberto Gonzalez. It was held in Vitoria, Spain, the company Urssa.
It was inaugurated on December 20, 2001.
