Photographer's Note
The Guanaco is a camel-like animal original from South America. Generally it scares easily and runs, but sometimes is aggresive and attacks if feel surrounded or in danger.
The male Guanaco is territorial and defensive, and can attack you if angry. Its defensive weapons are effective because it will spit you (has a long range spit, be careful!), or perhaps kick you. Are very fast runners.
The Chulengos are the Guanaco's babys, which are defended by both parents in case of aggression.
This shot was taken on the Valle de la Luna (Ishchigualasto) National Park, and the group of guanacos don't seem like my presence. Most of them (if not all) have an eye on me and turns back in order to start running on my first "strange" movement. If I do some stupid thing, perhaps the dominant male could engage me!
But they don't do anything if don't feel attacked.
Really, I wasn't on the mood of kicking Guanacos to defend myself (with poor success oportunities, I must say that!) :D

This is an amzing combinations of colors
I love the composition. I also understand the difficulties in taking pictures of animals. I always get their back sides
I think it still is a great picture

Hello
Great contrast of colors between the Guanacos and the rocks.
Good view of a group.

Great colors. The coats of the guanacos contrasts very well with the rock. Would have liked to see the face of a couple of more of them, but animals don't always cooperate. Doesn't look like there is much there for them to feed on.

Hi Patricio,
I suppose that you make this photo from the distance about 50-70 metres. The effective length of the focal length carried out surely about 300 or 350 mm. I infer this from the depth of the sharpness, the schedule of lights in the picture and on the ground of colours. The lens which you possess belongs to one of best of lenses. The nice photo, very pleases to me. Nice are natural in such situations colours and lights and contrasts. The photo looks like the paint picture with the water-colour.
Greetings,

Saludos

Great shot and not to go with it, colorful and clear and wild animals are so difficult to capture, well done.
