My first series of Milford Sound waterfalls was taken along the southern side of the sound. Today's 3 photos were taken as we headed back along the northern side. I chose the main one as it shows the enormity of the sides of Milford Sound.

Hello Ian, Next amazing waterfalls in Milford Sound. This boat trip was really fascinating. No need for blue sky, even in rainy weather it is stunning. Good colours and sharpness.

One can almost feel the power of the falling water and the foreground gives the waterfall some context. Looks very interesting and must be very cool near the fall. Excellent capture

Hi Ian,
Wow and I thought that North Yorkshire has so many waterfalls! Here the density of waterfalls per square metere must be the highest! I suppose it means it rains a lot there. The mist also indicates the rain forest. Very impressive place and great quality photos,

Impressive how these waterfalls fall from a considerable height down those rocky walls, it is also surprising how trees and bushes cover those vertical walls.
