Photographer's Note

This was a picture taken at Cape Foulwind near Westport, on the North East coast of New Zealand's South Island.
Obviously a windy day, and the sea you are looking at is the Tasman Sea dividing New Zealand and Australia.
Abel Tasman discovered and named many places around New Zealand; in fact this place was originally named "Rocky Cape" until James Cook came along in 1770 and encountered a storm.
