Photographer's Note
This lighthouse sits alone on the furtheress point west of Taranaki. It is now unmanned, but still used. It's a great place for solitude, deep thinking and writing, sitting in 40-50 knot winds.
One of my favourite places.

I like lighthouses and this is a great one. Your picture captures a top-of-the-world feeling which I like.
I think it could be even better if you move the lighthouse off center. Tried to create a workshop that enhances the solitude feeling.

I like the way the steps and railing lead your eye up to the main focus of the image.
I'd be tempted to remove the building to the right. Normally I'd agree that the image should be cropped so that the lighthouse wasn't centered, but I think it works here.

I like your lighthouse, especially the stairway leading to it. The colors are great... I did a WS to put the emphasis on the stairway, hope you'll like it.
