Photographer's Note
Best opened in a new tab for better detail.
For those in caravans staying at the outback Rose Isle station these were the "dunnies" (toilets) for them. The toilets had everything - they flushed but you'll notice that there are small solar cells to power lights at night. There was also a movement sensor to turn the lights on.
We were in a farm cottage so didn't have go to the outside toilet.

Hello Ian,
Quite funny. Hi-tech has reached the Australian outback. It's a nice composition with perfect colours and a fine balance between the dunnie and the tree.

Gert

Hello Ian,
It is surprising how many toilets have been featured recently on TE. They are essential to modern society and so their variety interests us! And of course, for campers ... a must!
This wooden version, with solar powered light, has been sharply photographed and well composed in the frame. The trees and shrubs make a fine backcloth.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

HHello Ian,
If child was this yet worse just after WAR II on the farm, but today we be still present, this was not dangerous.
But a very nice panorama picture, with this construction.

Hello Ian,
You wouldn't expect those solar cells in such an old, wooden toilet, but they're an easy solution to bring power even to such remote places. You captured it in a good composition, the large tree makes a great backdrop, too.

Hi Ian,
The trees are framing well the subject. The point of view is showing the details of the backhouse. It is clear and sharp. Have a nice day.

Hello Ian,
Fascinating to see such a meager wooden toilet that appears to be equipped with modern amenities. I can remember such toilets from the past, but you had to bring a flashlight if you wanted to use this facility at night.
Excellent presentation.
Have a nice weekend,

Hello Ian,
Good to see a hi-tech dunnie in the Australian outback!
The wooden construction is not in accordance with the solar cells or the movement sensor. But you may not want everything right away.
The location looks very beautiful!
Best regards, Paul
