Photographer's Note
Best opened in a new tab for better detail.
The overhang where I took yesterday's Aboriginal rock art photo was just along to the left of the rocky ridge shown here. Access is in dry weather only for 2 reasons. Firstly the road to the start of the walk gets closed after just a little bit of rain and secondly because you have to cross a creek behind the foreground boulders in this photo. After a storm the water could be 1-2 metres deep and flowing fast.
We did get rain while we were in the area but that was the next day and as you can see there isn't a drop of water in the creek.
And thanks for all the interest in my photo posted yesterday.

Comme il est agrιable de dιcouvrir ces paysages sauvages (plutτt prιsentant un aspect naturel).
La beautι d'ensemble est bien mise en valeur.
C'est curieux, cette formation d'ιboulis de pierres de diffιrentes formes.

Hello Ian, Excellent sharpness also in the large format. Wonderful view of these boulders scattered around. And what the problem when there is a creek after the rain? If it is not too deep, one can go through.
Best regards Malgo

Hello Ian,
Your notes explain why there are so many trees growing in what looks like a rocky, inhospitable place. They soften the effect of the strewn boulders.
Your sharp photograph (even better full size) gives us a very good impression of this area.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hi Ian,
The point of view is showing the details of the trees and of the rock formation. The light is enhancing the colours. Have a nice day.

Hi Ian,
I just love the red rock and great rock formations made of it.
The red goes so well with the green. It is somehow a surprising combination of colors and it felt so weird for me to see it in American Southwest.
Great composition,
excellent work,
M
