We went on a walk in Gundabooka National Park to an area of Aboriginal rock art. Along the way we walked through a very rocky landscape of piles of red boulders and scattered White Cypress-pine (Callitris columellaris) trees.
You'll notice that the name of the NP is slightly different to the district where it is, probably trying to make it more like the Aboriginal pronunciation for the main mountain within the park.

Interesting landscape of boulders that look like they've been laid on top of each other. The trees provide nice contrasts against the reddish ground. Fine light and as usual great sharpness.

Hello Ian,
This must be such a different landscape to that by the river that it would naturally attract Aboriginal people, the rocks offering scope for their art.
It's a well composed photograph, the rocks leading upwards to an apex on the thirds line. The reddy brown rocks are nicely interspersed with the greenery of trees and grasses.

Hi Ian,
fantastic place for a walk with camera. The rock formations are so photogenic and the vegetation adds green touch and is somehow different from what we are used to in Europe.
