Photographer's Note

Darling Harbour is only a short walk from Sydney CBD across the Iron Cove Bridge and has a number of attractions for visitors to Sydney, including the National Maritime Museum (top left in this shot).
Amongst its collection of historical boats and ships it a replica of the HMB Endeavour. Full scale and built in Australia, it was carefully replicated from the original, HMS Endeavour, the research ship used by the then Lieutenant James Cook when he first charted the east coast of Australia in 1770.

Another ship you can explore is the HMS Vampire. This destroyer, built in Australia, served in the Vietnam War amongst other places.

You can also explore the submarine HMAS Onslow.

This is 2 images stitched together.
