Photographer's Note

Today is Australia Day and celebrates the arrival of a boat load of unskilled people, who had no idea how to survive in a strange land, into Sydney Harbour on the 26th January 1788.

This photo was taken from Anzac Hill with the MacDonnell Ranges in the background. The reason for the very low horizon was because there is the township of Alice Springs in between where I was standing and the hills.
