Photographer's Note
I was determined to get a sunrise shot (as I always like to sleep in), so I woke up at 4:30 in the morning and went to Tygum lagoon to take some shots. It was a very overcast morning, however there was a few little openings here and there where the sunrays shone through. This was one of them. I hope you like it.

Happy New Year, Claudia. A nice effect with the morning sun breaking through in between the cloudy cover - well worth getting up early for (easy for me to say, I didn't have to do it ;). I like the golden tones that you got, and the use of landscape silhouettes at the low-placed horizon.

This is a great shot of a early overcast sky. The tones of the sun rays have a really good effect in your composition.

Hi Claudia. You've got plenty of contrast with the warm light cast against the silhouettes. It's simple but oh so beautiful. You certainly have more drive than I do to get up that early, lol! :) Beautiful shot Claudia.
