...as the manly ferry cuts its way to circular quay..
(from an australian pop song);
this manly ferry is going to manly from the opera house area, passing North Head (the cliff).
the North and South Heads are the 2 cliffs that form the entrance to sydney harbour from the ocean. before flying became common, this was the first real view of australia that most immigrants had.
if ever in sydney, it is a 'must do' journey, especially if you like photography.
