Photographer's Note
Whilst sitting in a bar enjoying the sun in Darling Harbour over the weekend, this Seagull kept wandering around posing to have his (her?)photo taken. The 'ground' is a laminated bench which was perfectly reflecting the gull as well as the beautiful blue sky. The sun was also just starting to set, so the glow of the sunset brought a golden outline to the bird.

I love the way the gull looks almost pink. The reflection from the bench makes it look as if the gull is stood on ice, great work!

I like the shadow on the back of the gull giving the appearance of a sun setting (as you mentioned). I agree that the bird looks as though its standing on ice. It looks very superior, well taken!
