Photographer's Note

Just when I thought all those sandstone mountains looked the same, today I was proven wrong. About 100km west of Sydney CBD are the blue mountains, where in the township of Katoomba you can find the well known 3 sisters, as well as many tourists that go there to see them. A slightly lesser known location is Wentworth Falls, 2 train stops before Katoomba. Here you will find the National Pass track (as well as others), which is so far the best walk I have done in the blue moutains. This photo is taken in the valey below, but the actaual track runs along the cliff face (I will post more photos to show what I mean). The views are spectacular to say the least, in some sections the waterfalls are falling above you. The track also has many cascading streams. Highly reccommend this walk for any nature photographers in Sydney.

The photo was bracketed +2 -2 stops and merged using HDR. All three photos taken at f/18 ISO-100, 1/13s, 0.3s and 1.3s
