Girilembone is a tiny hamlet in the NW of NSW. All trains stopped running on the line many years ago. Here is what remains on the station. The one shop and petrol station in the hamlet recently closed.
Just for fun I've posted 2 photos that I took when I was 15 back in the early 1960s when I caught the steam train to the next station, Coolabah. One shows the train line whilst the other shows the group I was with waiting for the train to travel home. We'd gone out to stay on a sheep station during school holidays.

Hello Ian ,
I love abandoned buildings (despite of the sad face of the thing).
Excellent presentation of this station with a stormy sky and attractive stone and groud tonaalities.

Hi Ian, nicely composed image of these typical looking rural Australian buildings. I like the earthy colours - very Australian too. cheers, Steve

Hello Ian,
Apparently there was no need to use these buildings for other purposes, which is a safe sign that a village is dying. It looks like a very abandoned station. It's a slightly sad view but the colours and light are good. The old WS photos are a useful complement.
Best regards,
Gert

Hi Ian,
The composition is well divided, the sky, the buildings and the ground. The point of view is showing the details of the buildings of the closed train station. The light is enhancing the colours. Have a nice day.

Hello Ian,
Great shot of the old deserted and closed station. You placed it very well in the middle with the two smaller buildings on either side. The grey clouds make the warmer colours stand out nicely.

Hello again,
Nice portrayal of this haunted place. Once, this COVID nightmare ends, I may plan a trip to the outback. Speaking of, have I mentioned that Subaru Outback is my dream car? :)
Best Wishes,
Gy.

hello Ian, Why didn't you post the WS picture as the main one? It is beautiful and would be one of the oldest on TE. But this picture is nice too. In fact, it would be difficult to guess it was the railway station.
Best regards MAlgo

Hi Ian,
This has a true feeling of emptiness and isolation. And far outback, even without scorching sunshine. It's those empty window openings that look kind of spooky.
