Over the last year we've had a string of problems.
Last year we were in a major drought and I did post photos of a dam that was only 3% full.
The drought was followed by disastrous bush fires (I posted quite a few photos of the aftermath).
Then, of course, came the world wide disaster of COVID 19.
A good feature to start balancing all that is that we've now had plenty of rain and here is a photo of one of our local (very scenic) dams, Nepean Dam. The water level in the dam only goes higher in flood times. The yellow tips on the trees (mostly eucalypts) is fresh spring growth.

I read this morning that Covid 19 has broken out again in Adelaide. Touch wood they can contact trace & quarantine quickly. Good sharpness and a pleasant diffused light. Even a small waterfall! Tfs!

Hello Ian,
There's an attractive green, grey and yellow forest growing on the steep rocks. It looks as dense as a tropical jungle. I like the reflections in the water and how it balances the grey clouds. The tiny waterfall is very pretty.

Hello Ian,
You are right, this has been a very trying year in many ways. We haven't had fires but we have had floods! The Covid pandemic has spread sadness and loss all over the world. In lockdown, we are missing seeing our children and grandchildren enormously!
Anyway, to see the dam so full and the plants looking so healthy is a good reason to smile.

Hi Ian,
beautiful riverside. In spite of the cloudy weather there is so much color in the vegetation and even the sky has well pronounced features. The river turn makes a nice motif here.

The length of the river is creating depth. The point of view is showing the details of the trees and of the rocks. The light is giving good colors output. Have a nice day.

Hello Ian, Indeed, you had many disasters one after the other. The forests now recovered, but what about the animal populations? Lovely view of this reservoir full of water and the forests with the fresh green.

A dam? It looks like a natural lake.
