Photographer's Note
After my 300th-post break, let me continue my series on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.. The great civil rights leader, and Nobel prizewinner of Peace, MKL is honored all over the US (and elsewhere) by means of monuments, naming streets, institutions, etc.
This picture shows the Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Choir San Diego (MLKCCSD), performing on the Spreckels Organ Pavilion, in Balboa Park, San Diego, California.
According to the MLKCCSD website, the Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Choir San Diego is a non-profit organization that raises funds for educational grants through a series of concerts. The scholarships are granted to high school fine arts students majoring in music, art, drama and dance. All the efforts by the choir members are voluntary.
This picture was taken in the same day of Helping people.

QUe tal de 'fιrias do TE'? Se calhar atι sabem bem, nγo? Eu tb. tenho que comeηar a fazer umas pausas de vez em quando. :-)
O enquadramento estα excelente, mostrando bem o que se passa e tb. o local, interessante sem dϊvida, mas algo deslocado - sσ os americanos para construirem no sιc. XX imitaηυes de barroca ou lα o que ι isso.

I've been missing your documentary shots. The best part of this photo is the collaboration of many ethnic groups to promote education in the arts. Amazing detail of this San Diego classic site. I look forward to your coming posts. Hope all is well with your family.
