Photographer's Note

This week in the USA it was celebrated Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was born on January 15, 1929, in Atlanta, Georgia, and assassinated on April 4, 1968, in Memphis, Tennessee. He received the Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts to end racial discrimination through non-violent means.
Martin Luther King had a dream that his "children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character."
It seems his dream didn't come true yet, as skin color is still an issue in US politics.
It seems King's legacy remains nowadays mostly in politically correct speeches, in streets or highways names, and behind the fences of schools.
He had a dream.

This picture is Martin Luther King Elementary School in San Diego (I guess in 31st St).
