You are not very active in wrting critiqes on other people's pictures and that's why you don't get much response to your pictures and that is really a shame. Your photograhy skills are high and they could deserve more attention.
I like the way how you still hang on to the analog era in using the best film ever made. The Velvia makes the landscapes really shine and just for these kind of subjects it is in his best place.
The Grand Canyon is so big, it's not to be captured in one single shot to show it in all his beauty. You have choosen for a more close up approach which is nice with some good details on the rocks. Light is of course wonderful on the rocks.
A great shot...just as most of them in your gallery.
