Photographer's Note
Beaver Creek Ski Resort, CO
Another shot taken while skiing at Beaver Creek, this one my first attempt at a panoramic view. This is a combination of 5 photos merged together. I have uploaded a large version for those who are interested.
Beaver Creek is near the town of Avon, CO and not far from the Vail resort. It operates 16 lifts that access 146 trails.
Beaver Creek is well known for being a previous residence of former US President Gerald Ford. They have recently renamed one of the advanced runs "President Ford's" in honor of him (he was also honored at Vail Resorts as well).
More photos of this ski resort can be found here.

Hello Amber,
Nice composition of a beatiful view. Exposing for and setting the right WB is always a challenge for cameras and yours have over come those problems. Nicely exposed photo. Well done. I'll be visiting Boulder in July. Where would you suggest for me to visit?
Greetings,
Ahmet

Hello Amber!
Another nice capture from the ski season! How nice should be... I just know it from "one-week-trips"! I have been practiced many sports in my life, and I think that ski is one of the bests, with its wonderful sensations of freedom!

Zeca

Hi Amber,
I like the starkness of the image, with the contrast between the black trees and the snow...then with just a hint of colour in the skier's jacket. Well composed and overall well done. PS. Thanks for your comments to my dubai image.
Cheers Grant

Hello Amber,
The panoramic version of this run going down into the foggy is very good. You technicaly perfectly master the merge of these several shots and the large version doesn't show any junctions. You used the diagonal of the run to build a very nice composition. Well done.
Best regards, Christian

Bonjour Amber,
A great pano. The Large version is very beuatiful, and I thought it was BW until I saw the colorful skiers.
Very nice job,

Hi Amber,
It is a beautiful view and an great compo, much dynamic with those lines of trees on the slopes following the long diagonal. The skiers give life to it and a nice touch of colour in a much monochromatic image (which isn't a flaw, but a part of its charm). The fog and the sky are another point of interest.
The stitching looks perfect, but the definition of the large version is a bit disappointing, as it looks like a zoomed version of a smaller image.
Regards, Josι.
