Photographer's Note
I was on my way home to the Valley and made a wrong turn up this hill. It's an exclusive little neigborhood in Malibu that probably houses some nice celebrities. I was quickly turning around, as there were several signs saying private property, when I noticed the view. They get to see this everyday on their way to work or play or wherever they go.
I thought it was pretty nice and typical.
I may have added too much Sepia (as I tend to do), but I wanted to give it a classic look.
Any suggestions?
*I'm learning more about exposure now and see I could have silhouetted a bit better...

Try to use curve and level under photoshop. This pict can be fix well. Also use Curve with photoshop to make nice sepia,
use +3 for red, -3 for green and 3 dot right for blue.

The speia's pretty ok, but the compositin is fantastic! The angle of the street in the foreground naturally draws your eyes to the PCH down below. Also, good job framing the land all the way to the right and letting the ocean spread out freely.

Hi there,
I've been a bunch of times down in Malibu, I know this spot and I like the picture the way it is.
It reminds me of movies like Chinatown and Mulholland Falls. In my own opinion that's what a shot is all about : a frozen moment to fill up with your own fantasy. If that happens... it's a DAMN GOOD SHOT!
And the angle of the road is fantastic.
Great job!
Ciao,
Fulvio.
