Photographer's Note

I titled this Everything because, to me, the framing, the tree in the forground, the spires and clouds leave so many impressions about humanity and nature. The simplicity of the image, along with, what could be construed as a almost heart like framing of the building through the tree branches, I can almost feel the pulse of humanity....be it, from a foreboding feeling, to conquest, to there is something intrinsically wrong with our current spread of humanity, to proudness that we, as a life form can build such magnificant buildings. The pulse of life, be it for good, bad or indifference.

Post image processing was rather tedious, as it took a while to get this right. The original manipulated image seems to have more life and this low resolution file seems to have lost a bit of this. However, there is a method to this madness of uploading low resolution files as it secures the copyright, without placing a copywrite notice on the image, simply because a print of this image will be pixalated and render the image pretty much useless. I used a combination of tricks to get to this point. From using the channel mixer to get the blue of the sky to stand out just a bit more along with the reflections off the building, to the Imagingfactories B&W plug in to reduce the paper grade from a normal 2 to 1.5. It took several tries to get it right. Then after looking at the image for a while, I decided it needed about a 10% overall crop, as there was useless information around the framing of the subject through the tree's.
