Photographer's Note

The following is read from this web page.
"The tunnel is almost 1 mile long, blasted and drilled through solid granite at a cost of almost $1 million in the 1930s. It took almost two years to complete. The idea was to provide a dramatic view without destroying the mountainside."

Wawona Tunnel is on the way from south entrance into Yosemite Valley. Driving from south to the valley, right after the tunnel, it is the famous "Wawona Tunnel View". In TE, there are many photos from the "tunnel view". This picture was taken early in the morning from "tunnel view" side to look back the tunnel.

Added a slightly different view in WS as per critiques from Sarju.
