Photographer's Note
Yesterday's tour... This is a very unique place - serves only rice pudding, in all sorts of flavors (from the seasonal eggnog to chocolate). What you can't see here is the place's design - many plasma screens showing all sorts of clips that have to do with fruit or color drops. Only two tables if you wish to sit, otherwise, use one of the three tables on which you eat standing. Rice pudding was not half bad...

Good subject and fine note. There is a fine rhythm in all those handles sticking out of the puddings. I have a workshop for you.

A lot of interesting/funny details on this one, Liora. Starting with the sign in front: "At Rice to Riches, we have an agreement with the bank. They don't make rice pudding and we don't cash checks." Or some of the fancy names of the dishes, like the "Coconut Coma". Did you have some of that? :-O
The way the bowls are lined up makes for an interesting and colorful graphical pattern. Also, the reflection in the counter is coming out pretty good. Well seen! I'll have to make a mental note to check this out the next time I get a chance to come to NYC.

Beautiful food window. Seems tasteful. The plates of vivid colours (specially yellow one), makes the pic attractive.

Hello Liora,
I saw this photo added to my theme. I really like it! I know it was posted a long time ago, but it deserves another critique. :-) I like the POV that follows all the dishes down the line, and begins with the nice holiday decorations. I have been to this shop, and you did a good job capturing the different colors and textures. It is an interesting place with lots of good photo opportunites...too bad I don't love rice pudding!!
