Father and Son On A Shopping Respite, N. Michigan Ave. (The Magnificent Mile), Chicago, IL

I was standing at the bus stop waiting for my bus on Chicago's Magnificent Mile, when I saw this pair opposite the wide avenue. So I took pot shots of them with my long lens. The kid was copying the dad everytime the dad changed position. It was so beautiful. They were waiting for the mom and the sister who were at some shops nearby (they arrived later).

Chicago's Magnificent Mile which is the northern part of Michigan Ave. between the Chicago River and Lake Shore Drive is a grand wide boulevard with exclusive shops, museums, restaurants and ritzy hotels. In this eight block area, there are over 400 exclusive stores and boutiques from Disney and Niketown to Bloomingdales and Saks Fifth Avenue, over 200 restaurants, and over 50 hotels. Many of Chicago’s famous architecture - landmarks such as the John Hancock Center, the Tribune Tower, the Wrigley building and the Water Tower, one of the lone survivors of the Chicago Great Fire in 1871 - are located here. The wide sidewalks, often adorned with well-maintained flowerbeds are always crowded. The areas around the Magnificent Mile are some of Chicago's wealthiest.
