Photographer's Note
My weekend trip to Yosemite National Park took my entire weekend. I actually spent only one day, Saturday May 14th inside the park. I entered the park at dawn, before 6:00am. I left the park after 9:30pm, after dusk.
This is an early morning shot about 6:00am at Wawona golf course. The sun did not rise yet. I still had to turn on headlight while I was driving. I stopped my car and I took this first shot of the trip when I saw the beautiful mist floating on the golf course.
Wawona is one of the oldest mountain resorts in California. The resort features a 9-hold par 35 golf course. This picture shows the fairway of the first hole.

nice to see you next photo :). great and picture. shade of colours to stress strange wearher. mist is amazing! sharpnest isn't perfect but i like this.

Hi Wes,
Last year there used to me a small misty shot competition, everybody wanted to have one to show ;-)
You missed that breathtaking event but you have got one shot that fits with this quite heavy mist still hanging on the trees, good PoV though I'd frame a bit more to the left not to cut the tree.

Nice work. To be honest, I like your version better than Didi's ws, because your photo shows the soft colours of the mist better. When it is misty, colours are always a bit like this.
I like the composition, becaus it is a bit hilly here and the mist is very low and in the middle. Good work!

Yes,the floating mist above the meadow is an essential detail in your compo.

Again the location brings back memories, Wes - during my 2001 visit to the park I actually spent a few nights at the Wawona campground. The hazy morning atmosphere is well captured in this one, and the framing is simple but well chosen. I think Didi's workshop refines it quite nicely. Good shot.

I like this misty early morning scene. It was just lovely that you could see this scene, everything looks calm, deep, peace, it gives you a whole luxury moment. I really like the atmosphere here. Hmm, hopefully I will have a house in such a place.
