Bonjour Jean,
We did not go as far as the Everglades, the local marsh was a very shot drive from Vero Beach. Yet, the wild life is in abundance.
Good capture of the little ones, not as cute as one might think, they grow a foot (about 32cm) every year...

Very cute when young! Well done finding this group - hopefully the mum in the WS wasn't too close by.
I've taken a lot of photos of crocodiles over the years but have yet to see babies.

Hello Jean,
They look very cute and cuddly, but cute animal babies usually have their mothers nearby, and wild mothers tend to be dangerously protective. Maybe you were lucky to escape this nice photo opportunity unharmed.

They look so charming indeed and it is hard to imagine they will turn into a giant dangerous creature like their mother. I see you are going back to your Florida archives along with the Ike's reportage from the same place. I think I still have some alligator photos I wanted to show as well but I really need to finish the Cape Verde reportage first...

Bonjour Jean,
Interesting to see the juvenile alligators are brightly coloured, probably to ward off potential predators, but their hide changes to a dull grey green tone that makes them hard to spot in the water when they are much bigger. Tfs!

a nice view of the babies and the mother in WS. nice images of the wild life. in this my last trip I found an alligator inside a big lake in a public park of a big town (not inside a zoo, it was a free animal) and I took some images, anyway this specie of alligator isn't so dangerous as the amazonian one.

Attentive to the environment you captured a good moment, but for me these little alligators seem horrible, as adults I don't even tell you.....
