Back to colour today from a visit to the Boston Museum of Fine Arts which is huge but a bit disorganised.
This work in glass caught my eye with its clever repetition and use of mirrors.
There was also a great and very large exhibition of the Japanese print maker, Hokusai - see the workshop to get an idea of his prints as well as see the entrance to the museum.

Hi Ian
Great having a play at something different! That's the Beauty of Glass with a sense of depth, repeat curves, shapes and reflections. The light really accentuates forms of the work of art, good vision of a sparkling composition. Congrats and tx to your bonus pic.
Best regards

Hello Ian,
How funny, that we should both focus on the unusual subject of glass! I really like this, especially in the large format, where the lines of glass bottles take on a very regimented format!
It is surprising just how much colour is reflected in the glass!
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Ian
yes, we can notice the mirror behind the first row of bottles. I liked a lot the repetition and the illusion created and the way you used this in this marvelous image.
take care

Hi Ian,
The tight frame is puttin the subject in evidence. The point of view is showing the details of the glass art. The light is making the colors to shine. Have a nice day.

Hello Ian, a very different picture from you today, I love it!
I had to look more closely at the large version, as the bottles on the right have the appearance of bubble wrap!
An excellent view, where the glassware disappears into the dark background.
The reflected light is also very special.
Into my favourites, thank you.
Kind regards, Jean.

Hello Ian,
What a spectacular work of displaying using mirrors with the repetition of glasses in all shapes and sizes - in a mesmerizing way , like the reflected of sparkling stars lighting continuously in full speeds to the end of darkness beyond.....
Pure genius of Hokusai exhibition, I must say , as well as the prints, so typical Japanese printing - tsunami and Mount Fuji.
Thanks for sharing.
