Oh how I love NYC's 5 Boroughs; especially Brooklyn because it just has a rare balance... Many of Americas great artist came from this town... William Styron, (author), & who could forget Henry Miller, (author) and yes Barbra...
In addition, that Brooklyn is a Northern Town; the light takes on a specific raking quality, (that is when the sun is out)... I was stricken by the that light struck this structure...

This is quite a stark image Don, very graphic and a little forboding as it leans in towards us.
I like the title also, a Beastie boys reference always conjurs up thoughts of NYC for me :D
How your shots recieve so little attention i don't know, but i always enjoy seeing your images of everyday US life, my respects,
