Hi Kristin
A great subject which no doubt required quick camera handling to get the shot. You'd think they'd got into this formation deliberately. One presumes the men are all wearing corporate colour. You know, I think I would have cropped a little off the left side and then cloned out what's left of the bike. I can imagine that you kept it in for its blue colour, but perhaps it's a little distracting. On second thoughts, seeing the lady - also in red - coming towards this group, I would hold the cropping and just clone the bike away. It would be finicky work, but could be done. Next person to come along here will like as not disagree with me!
Regards,
Andrew
PS - maybe a tad more contrast, too?

Hi Kristin!
I like this composition. I didn't like street photos but I must say I change my opinion about this kind of art.
Your photos are full of life and this is what I like most in your shots. TFS
Kind regards, Leszek

Hello Kristin,
Very quick, spontaneous pictures, using an opportunity which will be gone in a couple of seconds, don't always turn out technically perfect. To grab that unique moment is really so much more important. If it looks okay is just a great bonus. So I understand your problem with the bike. It just happened to be there (whether her boyfriend's or not doesn't really matter) and I think it would be difficult to get rid of it and make it look natural. Better to keep it. Darkening the picture to some degree would probably give the colors a bit more strength without actually saturating them. Having said all this it's a great snapshot, quite funny, and very catchy. Although this woman is not the only one with "strange" hair, she certainly expresses more personality than those men.
Kind regards,
Gert

Again, I so admire your ability to find these unique shots. The contrasts in those bright primary colors with the black are especially nice. As well as the contrast in the oddity of that unnatural red hair and colorful bag to the (yawn) boring sameness of the men in front of her. I like this. Well seen and shot! Many thanks and warm wishes,
Shelly

Bonjour Kristin,
Growing up in SLC, these two colors abound...the timeless rivalry between school colors of the University of Utah vs. BYU. I know that has nothing to do with this particular moment being played out on the street, but it was an instant association in my mind and got my attention from the get go!
With that nonsense behind me, let me just say...you have a great knack for seeing and capturing these opportunities. So many people would think nothing more than the brightly colored hair, which in this day an age is really no longer outrageous!? :) So, was the sales staff of Best Buy out on their lunch break? lol A splendid and spontaneous moment, visualized to be a photo with impact of color and human interest. Great reaction to catch this as it's taking place, these fleeting moments are hard to grab...and you've done it smartly once again. Blue vs. red, with a twist...not just inanimate objects or props..but real life, real people. Great scene!
ΐ la prochaine, ;)

hello Kristin
A street picture, taken in a second as you see the potentiality of the colors red vs blue, and the skirt movement.
I like also the red lady in the back coming to meet these persons.
What is not so good, but I know, you didn't have time to frame, is you cut her feet and their heads, and the bike on the left is not welcome. moreover, I find your colors a little too white; it's a good opportunity to make a WS (THANK YOU!)
