Photographer's Note
This was taken with a Canon PowerShot A460. My first trusted camera.
The photo was taken as part of our Valentine Days Hike, which started in the Santa Cruz mountains and ended up at the ocean. One of the best 20 mile hikes we've done.
I've picked this photo this morning not because of the beautiful shot of the coast line of Santa Cruz, but because of the memory it has for me and my wife.
This coast line is dotted with natural caves and cliffs that would make anyone want to put down roots and stay awhile.
I hope you find a great memory in this photo that brings a feeling of happiness and joy to you......I know that it does for us!!

Favourite moments in time yes I agree - My husband & I are having many of those at present - we are blessed to be able to visit such beautiful spots such as the view of the coastline here in this image - you managed to capture two seagulls as well - A pleasing image.

Beautiful shot! I like your timing it so that the curve of the wave leads to the land's point. Next time make sure that your horizon is at a horizontal. It will look better.

Voila ce que j'aime voir et entendre, la mer et le bruit des vagues qui claque sur les rochers, bon POV, lumiθre et couleurs naturels, un peu dommage pour l'horizon mais c'est juste un dιtails...

what a fabulous and spectacular seascape. We can see the power of those waves. You captured them wonderfully with excellent execution. Colors, sharpness, clarity, POV are fantastic. I like it a lot.

This is an impressive display of power, a great action shot packed with details in excellent colors and contrast. The catch light on the wave is fantastic, a well timed shot and those tiny figures on the cliff is real bonus for scale proportion. Indeed an awesome nature shot beautifully taken. The only issue imho is the horizon. Well done.

a tilted horizont line is something we should to fix but I ever forget to do. haha.
I am surprised with the bigh splash of this wave. very beautiful details, colors, sharpness and light.TFS.

I'm very surprised i havn't given you credit for this one.
The west coast of the states have some beautiful views, especially that Famous Hwy - which i havn't driven yet!
you chose the perfect time to snap the shutter, catching the water crash against the cliff. its a great view for sure :)

Waves pounding always creat a dramatic scenery, Buddy.
People standing on the cliff-top scale the magnificent scenery. The swell is 2/3 of rock hights'.
What a nature... beautiful shot.
