Autumn Contrasts, a photo from Wyoming, West

Photographer's Note

This is an autumn image taken about a year ago while travelling in the Grand Tetons of Wyoming (overlooked posting it last year). This is just a short walk from the parking lot at the infamous Schwabacher Landing. I had been photographing along Mormon Row earlier in the day so by the time I got here, the winds had picked up and the water was no longer still. This is an absolutely gorgeous image, how did yo manage to omit posting it!? A stunning background, excellent warm foliage colors, god light, an interesting sky, very strong composition, I couldn't suggest any way to make it any better than it already is. It's worth making a poster out of it.

Nice luminous shot of the Tetons from Schwabacher, a place where I've been (a kind of shingly beach if I remember well)
I was there in Sep, thus somewhat earlier and therefore less colorful than the present post

A nice balance between FG and BG. It looks like you were here about a 6 weeks later in the year than I was this year. The reflection seems pretty good to me considering it was later in the day.

"Schwabacher landing" sounds very german and it seems to be a beautiful place.
