Photographer's Note
My second weekend living in Canada was a long weekend, Thanksgiving weekend. I spent the weekend with my in-laws in Cardston, AB, a mere 15 minutes from the US border and 45 minutes from Swiftcurrent Lake in Glacier National Park. So I decided to make a quick pilgrimage to my homeland for the sunrise.
There wasn't much in the way of alpenglow, but we did get this nice color in the clouds. It was beautiful.
And cold. Why "A Mighty Wind" for the title, you might ask? Because the winds were in excess of 40 mph, with gusts probably as much as 60 mph. It was above freezing, but not by much. Bitterly cold the whole morning.

Hello Clark,
Your superwide lens makes a very nice picture with the mountain centre of the picture.
Also nice contrast with the pink colours at the sky.
Your picture is made in high quality and sharpness.
Excellent depth and perspective picture.
Very well composition, nice presentation too.
Thank for sharing.
Have a nice weekend,
John

Hello Clark, a superb shot.
Beautiful colours.
I guess that those clouds were scudding by?
Regards Jean.
