The Daniels & Fisher Tower in Denver, Colo. More commonly known as the D&F Tower, this building modeled after a building in St. Mark's Square in Venice, Italy, is one of the highlights of the 16th Street Mall in downtown Denver.

At its completion in the early 1900s, this was the tallest building outside of New York City until it was surpassed by the Smith Tower in Seattle around 1914.

The building itself is roughly 325 feet tall and there is an observation deck about 200 feet up for views of downtown Denver and the Rocky Mountains to the west. Because of the highrises to the south and east of the tower, views of the Colorado state capital building, Civic Park and the very popular City Park are not possible, though.
