Hi John,
Beautiful winter scene along the banks of this wilderness river. I love the blue sky against the puffy clouds and the considerable detail the bolders and trees surrounded by snow and ice.

Hi John, this one is awesome. I liek the most is the great contrast of the colors between blue sky and the white snow. The cloud adds more interesting part here. Well done.

Btw, I notice all of your photos regarding their sharpness. To me, I think that the photos are not sharp enough. To my idea, the lens you are using is responsible for the sharpness. You may want check the review of this lens in any website that reviews it. I do not use Olympus, so I cannot judge. If lens is the case, you may want to get a new lens that the results will please your photography interests, time, and energy. Just my thought only, not THE thought.

This is a beautiful winter scene. The frozen river is nicely framed by the rocks and bare trees. You have nice layered colors here going from the white at the bottom through red and green to the blue of the sky at top.

Hello John,
As promised, from return of holidays, I come, as you did for me, to visit your gallery.
Your picture is very strong: one finds all the power of the American landscapes there: gigantism, force... That is very well returned by the rocks of the foreground and and the immense one extended from trees to the horizon.
Your light is superb also...
One wants to be there!

You couldn't have chosen a better POV. The eye is led along the frozen water to the wondeful winter colours of the background. The stones at either side frame the scene well. Lovely work!

Hello John,
petit retour arriθre pour me plonger dans une superbe ambiance de vrai hiver.
J'aimerais beaucoup marcher dans la neige, mais ici, en Belgique, il me faudrait aller loin au Nord ou ΰ l'est pour en trouver, ou encore les montagnes.
Superbes couleurs et une balance de blancs (white balance) trθs prιcise.
QUelles lumiθres ιclatantes.

Hi John - a random find today, the varying degree of frozen state of the river is intersting, the dusting of fresh snow looks great on the subjects, the sky is also nice.
