Photographer's Note
Glacier Gorge:
This is one of my favorite places in Rocky Mountain National Park. You suddenly emerge from the woods into this scene. Mills Lake is in the distance. Longs Peak (elevation 14,259 ft - 4345 meters) dominates the gorge. Luckily the scene was unobstructed by hikers on this day (there were pack of fisherman just behind me). We made it down to the lake just in time for those clouds to blast us with a nasty thunderstorm.

Nice Photo.
Good color and DOF. Nice contrast between the deeper colors in the foreground and the snow covered mountains and bright sky.

Great view of the Glacier and blue sky. Great natural look. Well compo. I wish I will be visiting the Rocky Mountain. I have some relatives there who ask me to visit them and they would take me to the park, but I never had a chance. Regards, Sothy

This is just the kind of American countryside I would wish to visit. (I'm not a city lover.) The picture portrays a wonderful sense of wildness. The composition is such as to encourage the viewer to follow the valley bottom and maybe over that high pass to the valley.
