Photographer's Note

This picture shows the Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Choir San Diego (the same of my previous post), performing on the Spreckels Organ Pavilion, in Balboa Park, San Diego, California.
The Spreckels Organ Pavilion harbors the world's largest outdoor pipe organ. It was constructed for the 1915 Panama-California Exposition. The Spreckels Organ has 73 ranks totaling 4518 pipes. Free organ concerts are presented at 2:00 pm every Sunday, as well as on other occasions. The outdoors location on Balboa Park is lovely, but the low flying airplanes, heading to San Diego airport, are sometimes a nuisance.
Read more at the websites of: San Diego Historical Society, The Spreckels Organ Society and The City of San Diego.
In my next photo I'll present a wider view of the Pavilion.
