Photographer's Note
Lee Vining Creek is the second largest stream in the Mono Basin emptying into Mono Lake. Its watershed begins in the Ansel Adams Wilderness at 13,053 foot Mt. Dana. Woody riparian vegetation along the creek is home to various species of birds, reptiles and mammals. I tried to capture the magnificent colors from this riparian vegetation and the geologic richness of the area. Check out several beautiful photos of Mono Lake by clicking on the city of Lee Vining in California.
