Photographer's Note
Wanted to bring it back home for today's photo. This is taken facing NW from the Hayward Hills in the San Francisco East Bay Area. Across the skyline from left to right is Mount Sutro (with Sutro Tower), San Francisco, Mt. Tamalpais and beyond.
This reduced version does not do justice, but if you look closely against the back-drop of the largest mountain in the center you can see a firework show happening somewhere in Oakland.

I like this, really good blend of blues and reds in the sky and then you have some city lights and mountain from the San Francisco area.

Hello Robert,
What a dramatic sky! I really like the way you framed the distant lights of the city with the silhouettes of the trees, too. Everything falls into place nicely, and it is very eye-catching to have black around the edges with bursts of color in the interior section of the frame.
