Photographer's Note
This was shot from airplane flying over Fremont/Newark California. These are natural colors of the landscape salt ponds there. I have 2 others in the series and a aerial overview of the total landscape. I will post for your viewing. I have printed with to a size of 13 x 19. They make interesting abstract viewing.

This is great Chuck - what a beautiful man made painting on a large scale - pity about the artefacts in the image and some pixelation (on my screen) but a fantastic image to share with us.

Wow, what a cool image. Just for the graphic design of it. The color, neg/pos shape relationships, awesome. Tecchnically it has some noise and other "airplane window" issues, but I love your shot. And you were selective enough to post it.

even before opening I recognized this place, I used to fly above fremont 4 times a week for several years. The sharpness is great and the colors are very true to reality. Stunning capture, However these seems to be some pixelation but after all it was taken from a plane. In may opinion this is one of the prettiest things about fremont.

An outstanding shot, Chuck. Quite a contribution to TE with this perspective of the salt ponds. I am not normally a fan of abstract, but when its actually a rendering of what is seen from afar, I am attracted to it. Very good colours and presentation. Cheers.
