Photographer's Note

The abandoned/shut down 19th century jail on the outskirts of Yuma, near the California and Mexican borders. It was a very intense day in the sun department, and I quickly found that any leeway I took against glare in one aspect was quickly paid back in another - to keep from overexposing the sky, which was a beautiful and rich blue color, I had to suffer the old stains along the building coming out. I tried to cover them up at first but found the results not worth the trouble. The most evident bounce comes from the left side, where the building tilts in slightly a third of the way from the top. It does this all along the way, not very perceptibly if you don't know what to look for, and I don't have any idea why it does it. Perhaps to reduce eye glare for the unfortunate guard who had to stare at it all day long?
